Here comes a new event from our good friends in Nottingham, the Robin Hoods!  They have been holding regular weekly events for some time now and have been supporting ST/HDR.  However due to it being on a weekday some of you have been missing out on the great community and events that they provide.

That’s about to change though.  On Saturday the 3rd of June, the Robin Hoods team will be combining with the Dudley Boys to form some kind of tournament organising, hype providing Megazord – that’s right, the Dudley Hoods will be in full effect!

Fist of the Notts Star will have tournaments for:
•Guilty Gear Rev 2
•Street Fighter 3 3rd Strike
•Tekken 7
•Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo

We will be working with the Robin Hoods and Dudley Boys to provide Super Turbo on UD CPS2 supporting PS3/PS4/Xbox 360 and Xbox One sticks/pads.  We will be capturing as usual, and if the 4G Gods are good to us, streaming too

Event information

Venue fee is £5 for advance signups (£10 on the day) and each tournament is £5 entry.  Registration is being handled at their event page, so go there to pay and register.  Do it early to save a few quid and also assist us and the Dudley Hoods with seeding!

The event kicks off at 13:00 with tournaments starting at 15:00.  If you would like any additional information or have any questions, you can contact the team via the event page.

Robin Hoods have given a finish time for 21:00 but as tournaments can sometimes be subject to factors out of the organiser’s control, give yourself a little extra time if you are arranging transport.

If you are travelling by public transport, you’ll be happy to know that the venue is within walking distance of Nottingham Train station and Broadmarsh bus station.

Need parking?  You can check out the options on this handy site

If you are unfamiliar with Nottingham or the venue, then we suggest you take a look at their official site.
